The body follows the head. Having a Godlike attitude is the foundation of the church.
We have a commitment to God first. Our job is to follow His word and do His work.
We are a collective body for Christ. As a team we work hard to gather His flock.
As saints of God we surrender to His will and demands. We are obedient to the word.

For the past twenty three years, Reverend Fred Thomas, III has served as Pastor of the Greater Saint Peter’s Baptist Church. The church has tremendously prospered under Pastor Thomas’ illustrious leadership. Although he was born in Brenham, Texas (near Hempstead) and later lived a few years overseas while serving in the United States Army, Pastor Thomas has spent all his life in Hempstead since infancy. He is the oldest of fourteen children born to Bertha Lee Thomas-Jones and the late Fred Thomas, Jr.
Pastor Thomas was baptized at Greater Saint Peters Baptist Church in April of 1971, accepting Christ as his personal Savior. On February 24, 1974, at the age of twenty-eight (28) the Spirit of the Lord came upon Pastor Thomas, and God called him into the ministry.
